Tangled translation: ma région

This translation resource consists of a short text on the topic of 'my region'. The paragraph is a mixture of French and English words and phrases – a 'tangled' translation. Students start by highlighting all the English words in the text in one colour and all the French words in a different colour. They then copy out the text, translating the whole paragraph into just one language: French or English. They can finish by checking against the answers provided.

Originally designed to tie in with chapter 4, unit 2 of the Studio AQA textbook, this could be used with any class studying the home, town and region topic.
