The challenge of developing hot deserts

A resource which identifies the physical and human challenges of developing hot deserts. Students begin by completing a mapping activity to locate hot deserts globally and understand why they are located in these regions. They then complete two diamond nine activities to establish the key physical and human challenges in hot desert environments. They should be able to justify the decisions they have made and summarise the key challenges of developing these ecosystems.
