The Italian drought - cause, effect and response

This resource focuses on the causes, effects and responses to drought, using the example of Italy in 2017. Students complete a newspaper analysis activity, where they can either categorise the information or complete the structured questions.

The activities are linked to students recognising the difference between causes, effects and responses, which is a key skill at KS4. Teaching notes are included which offer guidance on exam-style questions.
