River landforms

A resource identifying the different river landforms created by processes of erosion and deposition. The PowerPoint takes students through the river processes which create landforms in different stages of a rivers journey down the long profile, begining in the upper stages with processes of erosion, down to the lower reaches with depositional features.

Students complete a range of activities to help them understand the formation of landforms along the rivers course, including diagram annotation, sequencing activities, analysing images and structured questions.
