Sustainable water supplies: sand dams

This resource looks at a local, small scale scheme to help increase sustainable supplies of water. Students use a video clip and images to understand how sand dams work and why they are sustainable. Students also use a web link to research a specific example in South East Kenya. There is also a skills activity where students are expected to draw a labelled field sketch.
