Tourism in London
This resource focuses on tourism in London and the effect large events can have on tourist numbers. Students assess the social, economic and environmental impacts of major events on people and places, in this cases London during the 2012 Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Students complete a number of questions and planning activity making use of weblinks and geographical skills. The work could be completed as an individual investigation and then extended with a class discussion.
