Why is the Dead Sea shrinking?

This resource helps students investigate why the Dead Sea is shrinking, focusing particularly on the human influences on the hydrological cycle. Students complete a card sort activity, categorising the cards into background information, causes and consequences of the shrinking Sea. Teachers may wish to give some additional background information in regards to the location of the Dead Sea.
