This resource provides prompts for pupils to sort key causes, events, and consequences of the 'Indian Wars' of 1860s America. The resource focusses upon Little Crow's War of 1862, Sand Creek Massacre of 1864, and Red Cloud's War of 1965-68. Detailed evidence is included for pupils as a prompt, but the worksheets could be completed without this evidence as a revision activity, or alongside a textbook if teaching the events for the first time. Completed answer pages are also included for teacher reference, of self / peer assessment.
