What were the causes and effects of the Great Depression?
This resource allows students to work through the causes and immediate international effects of the Wall Street Crash of 1929, and Great Depression of the 1930s in America. Students begin by ordering a set of causes into a helpful flowchart, suitable as a revision aid. The resource includes the correct order of these cards, to enable self or peer assessment. Students then compare the international declines in industrial production, and rise in unemployment. The resource uses high-level economic vocabulary throughout, to expose students to complex terminology.
