This photo card resource is presented in a similar style to the AQA GCSE German speaking exam (2016 specification) and is ideal for an end-of-unit assessment, revision or exam practice.

The cards focus on sport but include more general questions about free-time activities. They are designed to be used as a peer-assessed speaking task. In pairs, one student is given photo card A and the other student gets photo card B. They then have five minutes' preparation time before testing each other, taking turns to play the role of the examiner. Additional, unprepared questions are provided, along with sample answers to enable the student who is assessing to grade their partner using the assessment grid provided.
