Perfect for recapping or revising maths functions and graphs at A-level, this activity features 10 questions all based around one function. Questions include finding coordinates, values of turning points of the curve and equations at certain points of the curve, as well as calculating areas and using the trapezium rule.
Use to recap and practise in class, for at-home revision or in revision sessions.
Questions include:
1. Find the coordinates of the points where the curve crosses the X-axis
2. Find the coordinates of the point where the curve crosses the Y-axis
3. Find the exact values of the turning points of the curve and distinguish between them
4. Sketch the curve
5. Find the equation of the tangent at the point on the curve where x=1
