Introduction to Shakespeare

This collection of introductory resources will help students get to grips with Shakespeare's language and his use of iambic pentameter and includes worksheets and activities to explore his life, the Globe theatre and the historical context of his work, as well as the dramatic features of tragedy and comedy. There are also some fun resources exploring Shakespearian insults and Elizabethan medicine.
