Nowadays I work part-time as a supply teacher in Cambridgeshire. During my twenty-year teaching career, I have been an Assistant Head of English and Head of Media Studies. I was an examiner for AQA in 2017. When I'm not working or writing resources, I like travelling, cooking and reading.

I've used Teachit since the late 1990s and started contributing round about then. I've always been impressed with the quality and variety the site offers and wanted to be a part of that useful, positive vibe. It still gives me a buzz when I get an email saying 'Your resource has been loved'. It's good to share and I hope from time to time I have saved a hard-pressed teacher a few precious minutes!
