20 teaching ideas for SPaG
Twenty creative and varied activities to use when teaching spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as suggestions for developing vocabulary. Would work well in tutor time for literacy intervention sessions or as starter activities to support targetted learning of a particular grammatical rule or use of puncutation.
The ideas could be used by non-subject specialists, with support.
Ideas include: collecting images of errors, thesaurus races, a grammar treasure hunt, sorting homophones, drama activities and carousel tables with activities targetting common errors.
