Activities on 'Nature's Questioning'

A rich range of activities for A-level students to complete to develop their understanding of Hardy's poem, 'Nature's Questioning'.

There is a research task for students to complete on historical and biographical context, followed by guided questions to support group work. There is also a glossary task - students match the words with the correct definitions, and a pairwork activity looking at 'voices' and themes in the poem. There is an extension task for extra challenge for higher attaining students or for homework in which students complete a thematic essay question. NB The resource was originally designed for a WJEC specification but would be suitable for any A-level class studying the poem.
