English Christmas quiz
Celebrate in style with this ultimate end-of-term Christmas quiz for KS3 and KS4 English students.
Working in pairs or teams, there are four rounds for students to answer, with forty questions in total. Starting with a true or false rounds to check their knowledge of famous Christmas scenes in novels, students then move onto a 'Name that book!' picture round.
Round three asks students to identify the literary technique in a Christmassy quotation from a famous text, before defining five literary techniques in just 30 seconds.
