Title
Oliver Twist

This is a really imaginative resource where students design a board game for Oliver Twist and write the instructions. It helps students show understanding of the text and it encourages planning and thinking skills in addition to working effectively in groups. It also includes instruction writing and an example board game. It could be used as a final task following the reading of the play.

This is a fabulous resource - I used it with 4 home ed kids and we had the best time and made a great game that family and friends have enjoyed....whilst cementing there understanding the text and full indulging their creativity and strategic thinking.

We made a prison square and put chocolates on this square...you got a chocolate if you landed on the square - never have children and grown ups alike wanted to go to prison more!
