Pre-reading research task: Mary Shelley

An independent research task for students to investigate Mary Shelley's life, works and relationships. They also then reflect on the key question: 

How may the life and events that Mary Shelley experienced and lived through have affected her as a person, her understanding of the world and consequently her writing?

The outcome is flexible: students can present their findings as a PowerPoint presentation or as an information leaflet.

An extension task is also provided.
