Remembrance Day study

This is a wonderful, inspiring resource for getting students to engage with their history. It's a powerful and moving History exercise that encourages children to find out about the people listed on their nearest war memorial. This would make a great introduction to learning about WWI poetry or a novel set in the First or Second World War.
