Starter cards and discussion activity for AS Language

A flexible card activity for introducing A-level Language, which explores some of the key elements of the course, including gender, language change, language acquisition and language varieties. It includes a range of stimulating and challenging questions to provoke debate and discussion, with teaching notes and extension activities. It could be used with groups for taster lessons or during introductory and transition lessons.
