A creative resource getting students to think about using interesting vocabulary choices for colours to evoke mood in a piece of descriptive writing.

In the PowerPoint resource, students are shown how to create their own colour circles, thinking of words to describe a colour and linking these to associated moods and ideas. Students then use their circles to describe a setting.

A circles template is also included.
