Jeu d'équipe: verbes irréguliers

This French PowerPoint is a competitive team game based on irregular French verbs in the present tense. Students must choose the correct conjugation of the verb from the three options, in order to complete each gapped sentence on the topic of school. Once they have agreed the answer in their groups, the team captain indicates their response using the thumbs up/down/neutral symbols shown on the slides, or by using a RAG card (red, amber, green) to win a point. 

Extra points are given for the correct translation into English, and for answering a bonus question requiring further manipulation of the verb. For more support, students could have access to verb tables. Designed for key stage 3, this could also be used as a fun starter or revision activity for key stage 4 groups.
