Les synonymes
This French colour coding activity is a really useful introduction to common synonyms, which are often a feature of GCSE reading comprehension. Students match up the vocabulary with similar meanings, and could also cut up the words for card games, such as pelmanism or snap.

This is superb - so versatile. Once the activity is finished, these sheets (without the colours, to make it more challenging) can be cut up into cards to use for pelmanism or snap.
