This French worksheet introduces the key vocabulary and prepositions needed to describe where different classrooms are in a school. It includes a range of different facilities on a typical school site, such as the library, canteen, toilets, offices and tennis courts, as well as subject classrooms.
It includes a gap fill task and translation into French, with support. There is also a 'word snake' activity, where students must insert the missing spaces and punctuation into the French sentences, before translating them into English. One exercise focuses on the correct use of 'du', 'de la' or 'des' with 'en face de' and 'à côté de'.
Students then write some sentences about their own school facilities, including one that is not true for a partner to spot. Answers are included.
