Write a letter to Anne Boleyn
Students imagine they are Henry VIII in 1528, writing a letter to Anne Boleyn explaining his frustrations at not being able to marry her. This is a creative writing approach to explaining Henry's desire to annul his marriage to Catherine of Aragon and the difficulties he faced as King. It would make a great extension or homework task.
