Johnny Hallyday, who died in 2017, played a huge role in developing the contemporary music culture in France.
There are two online video clips to watch: one about his funeral in Paris and the other about the man himself.

Johnny Hallyday, l’un des chanteurs préférés des Français, est mort le 6 décembre 2017 à 74 ans. Il était devenu l’idole des jeunes Français en leur faisant découvrir le rock n’roll, qu’ils adoraient. Sa carrière a duré environ 60 ans. Il a vendu plus de 110 000 000 disques. Ses fans adoptaient son style: un blouson de cuir, des lunettes noires et les tatouages. Il était une véritable bête de scène. Malgré ça il était resté sans prétention.
