This true or false activity contains 16 lettered cards with statements about acute, obtuse and reflex angles on. Students must decide if a statement is true or false to find each next card to work on, collecting the letters in order along the way. The cards form a loop, so students will have to determine which is the starting card, in order to decipher the message.

The cards can be cut up or not – the activity works well either way.  The activity could also be used as a treasure hunt, by photocopying the cards onto A3, cutting out and hanging around the room.

The activity could be extended by asking students to correct the cards with false statements.

I've used this several times with my students and find that having to crack the code keeps them focussed right to the end.
