Area and perimeter problems

This area and perimeter activity consists of a differentiated set of ten cards, each with two problems. The problems are given a star rating (1-4) to show their difficulty.

The one- and two-star questions require calculations involving areas and perimeters. The three- and four-star questions lead to linear and then simple quadratic equations.

The resource is aimed at year 10 pupils but could be used with year 9 or as revision for year 11.
