Circle areas matching cards
A KS4 maths matching cards activity. The resource can be used to review and practise the application of the formula for the area of a circle to more complex problems.
Students are given 8 compound shapes and are asked to:
- find the area of the circle showing all workings
- check and amend their workings using the workings answer sheet
- check and amend their final answers using the numerical answers sheet

I used the cards for revision and they were thoroughly enjoyed by the students age 16-17years old.
