Compound shapes matching

A KS3/Foundation GCSE  PowerPoint resource to practise finding the perimeter and area of compound shapes. 

Four L-shapes are given which are made up of rectangles and squares with some missing lengths that need to be worked out first. Students are asked to match them up with their perimeter and area. 

The activity also includes a challenge. There are 2 wildcard answers and students are asked to draw their own compound shape which has this perimeter and area.
