Indices and simple number work
A simple maths number starter for lower KS3.
Students are given questions and a colouring picture. They identify the colour that represents the correct answer and use it to shade in the numbered section on the picture provided.
In the first version, they need to simplify indices and the second includes questions on rounding to one decimal place, multiplying and dividing an integer by a simple decimal and finding the HCF and LCM of small numbers.
