Number properties - daily starter
A great maths starter activity, for lower KS3 or as skills practice, on number properties which can be used to develop fluency in key skills over the course of a topic, or used for recall and retention spread throughout the year. This PowerPoint contains ten Number of the day tasks, each following the same format. With each starter, students practise:
- even and odd numbers
- writing numbers in word form
- rounding to the nearest 10 and 100
- place value
- partitioning the number
