Plenary-use of quadratic formula

A short task to summarise the techniques used with the quadratic formula.

Students look for errors in working and understanding and then correct them. They will need to be able to identify a, b and c with the quadratic expression written in different forms and use the formula directly. A great task to show deep understanding of the formula and how it is used.
