A downloadable KS5 worksheet to revise proof with year 12 students. The resource demonstrates how to use counter-conjectures and algebra to prove a conjecture. The resource would also be useful for high-attaining GCSE Higher students.

Sample questions from the resource:
Anusha thinks that when an even number is halved the answer is always even. Is Anusha correct?
Prove that the sum of any 3 consecutive positive integers is a multiple of 3.
Prove that, if the difference of two positive integers is 4, then the difference of their squares is a multiple of 8.
