Shoe shop investigation
A KS3 worksheet resource to review and practise concepts regarding mean, median, mode and range.
From a set of data on shoe sizes, students are given 3 tasks:
- Task 1 - complete a frequency table to display the data
- Task 2 - find the mean, median, mode and range of the shoe sizes
- Task 3 - discuss how each result can help the shoe shop
There is an extension task in which students can collect their own data and compare with the given data.
