A simple but challenging mental maths resource for early morning activities (EMA) or a starter or plenary for KS2. To support this resource, provide a set of number cards to 1000 (or beyond), ask children to pick one at random and then carry out a set of calculations. Then children can check to see how quick and how accurate have they been.
