Pieter Bruegel the Elder biography and comprehension (KS2)

A biography and comprehension based on the life of the famous artist Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Children use their reading skills of both information retrieval and inference and deduction to locate and record answers onto a SATs style worksheet. Answer guidance is provided. Two follow-on tasks include an art and design opportunity to create a piece of artwork in the style of Bruegel and an English task where children imagine they can interview this Renaissance artist. This resource is suitable for children in years 3 and 4.
