Speed maths – addition and subtraction to 20

Mental maths practice for addition and subtraction up to 20. There are two sheets. The first sheet practises addition and subtraction to 15 and the second practises addition and subtraction to 20. The resource is aimed at year 2 but could be used for older learners with SEND or to stretch higher attainers in year 1. Each sheet is divided into four columns of calculations. Children could complete a column a day in a given time throughout a week or complete as a standalone assessment activity. Answers are included.
