Forming negative sentences

This resource is designed to help students practise forming negative sentences and translating into Spanish. Cut up one set of word cards for each small group of students. The cards are differentiated, with or without capital letters and full stops.

Students select the cards they need to create a translation of each of the sentences on the PowerPoint. Alternatively, for higher attaining groups, you could give them the cards without the PowerPoint prompts and ask them to form five sentences using all the words.

Students then complete the translation worksheet, which uses similar negative structures.
