EAL

Classroom resources for teaching primary and secondary school students who have English as an additional language. Some are ideas for vocabulary and spelling games that can be used for teaching or revising general English vocabulary or key words for any curriculum subject, or for writing essays on any topic, while others are specific to a particular subject, such as 'Describing a story' for English, 'Research assignment mini-kit' for science or 'Earthquake survival' for geography.

For more subject-specific resources, visit our primary, English, modern foreign languages, maths, science, geography and history collections.
