Evolution: natural selection

This KS4 PowerPoint lesson introduces evolution by natural selection. It encourages students to think about phenotypes and speciation, using some common examples such as peppered moths, hoverflies, giraffes and Darwin's finches.

There are five tasks, including a practical activity as well as discussion tasks, low stakes quizzes and a starter and plenary to make a complete lesson. Includes teaching notes for the practical and suggested answers.
