Core vocabulary cards

These core French vocabulary cards are an alternative to word mats and are designed to be laminated. They will support your students in using the target language more in class and working independently.

The cards have French phrases on one side and the English meanings on the other, so students can test themselves and each other. You could use these cards in this way as a regular starter activity or for revision.

The phrases include greetings, classroom phrases, questions, lots of adjectives, connectives and time phrases.
