This bingo game is a fun way to practise and embed new vocabulary. Students fill in their bingo grid with any sixteen numbers from 1-30. Each number corresponds to an English word or phrase on their sheet. However, these items of vocabulary could be easily overwritten to suit your topic and class, making this game endlessly adaptable.
Instead of calling out a number, as in a traditional bingo game, call out the thirty words at random, but in the target language. Students have to listen carefully to check if you have called one of their words, before ticking it off. The first student to a row of four or a full house wins!
