This resource provides a step-by-step approach to persuasive writing in upper KS2 that can be followed over several sessions during a week. It starts with simple tasks like highlighting words and phrases in an exemplar text and leads on to children using the information they have collected to write their own advert for a holiday cottage. These tasks include; identifying adjectives, comprehension, creating subheadings and composing complex sentences. It provides a great way to help children tackle persuasive writing in a structured, supported approach.
