The domestication of dogs

An interesting PowerPoint explaining why wolves were domesticated by Stone Age people. Children consider the features of wolves which would have benefited Stone Age society. They go on to find out what proportion of UK households own a dog today, and conduct a survey to see if their class reflects this statistic.
