Edith Cavell biography

An activity based on the life of First World War nurse Edith Cavell. Children read each section of the biography and use a highlighter to select key words. They then draw comparisions with Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole.

This is a wonderful activity to challenge higher ability Y2 children. It is also suitable for Y3 and Y4.
