Children are asked to solve a set of Iron Age Maths word problems. They use algebraic reasoning to go shopping in the Iron Age, working out how much different goods are worth in iron bars, and what they can trade them for! There is space on the worksheets to show workings. As an extension challenge, children are invited to write new problems for their friends to solve.
Suitable for KS2. Includes an answer sheet with full explanatory workings.
