This resource asks children to consider the great puzzle of Stonehenge: how the Stone Age people managed to move and erect such massive stones to form the famous circle. Children fill in the templates provided with their own notes and diagrams to explain how they would have erected the ancient monument!

A great resource to get children thinking about the limitations of constructing our knowledge of the past from a source. Suitable for KS2.

This is useful and fun. It would be nice to have some suggestions to inspire the children if they get stuck, and also some theories about how the stones were in fact positioned. Thank you for this resource though, very useful.
