Diversity in science posters

A set of three posters about contemporary and recent scientists of diverse backgrounds to display on your lab or classroom wall.

The posters feature the following scientists:

• Dr Hamied Haroon, a medical physicist at the University of Manchester who also campaigns to improve the rights and opportunities for workers with disabilities
• Dr Ben Barres, a transgender neuroscientist at Stanford University who campaigned for equality for minorities, and particularly women, in the sciences
• Dame Elizabeth Anionwu, Professor of Nursing at the University of West London, who became the country's first sickle cell nurse specialist and who has been listed as one of the most influential nurses in the history of the NHS.

Each poster includes a QR code that links to a YouTube video where students can find out more about the featured scientist.
