Keyword links – hormones

This worksheet is ideal as a quick starter, formative assessment or consolidation task to recap hormonal coordination in humans and revise all the keywords associated with this topic. Students have to write 10 sentences to link a range of keywords: 

• ovaries
• glucose
• glycogen
• kidneys
• blood
• urine
• oestrogen
• insulin
• pituitary gland etc. 

The resource also includes ideas for differentiation for different attainment levels:

• allow free choice to pair different keywords together
• ask students to link more than two keywords together
• change the links between keywords to make them more straightforward or more challenging.
